Hi, beauties, how are you doing? Today I’m going to review a Gripless beauty attachable finger blender. I saw this new gadget on the instagram and then I decided to try it by myself. So here some pictures of the tool.
I paid 10$ for that and I got it from ebay. You can also buy it on their web site but it was more expensive over there ( $13 +shipping WHY?)They didn’t send it to me and it’s not a paid review. As you can see I received it in the box. The sponge was in the bag and it comes with few flyers. And the first thing, that I don’t like, that they send me this card with the mistake on it. I didn’t mind, I don’t really need all that paper, but if you are selling your product to someone and you have a company and brand name and you are spending money on advertisement isn’t it the firs thing that you should do right? Why will you send that to somebody? Isn’t it weird? I have never seen something like that before. Even when I’m buying cheap stuff if they are sending me some flyers they are sending a good once. As a customer I don’t like it and I don’t think that someone will. As you already noticed, they have different kinds and sizes of those sponges. So there are some small and big once. The big once are for foundation and the small once are for correctors, concealers and all stuff that you will need to apply on a smaller area of your body. Teardrop one is for blending and the flat, oval one is for applying. I have not tried all of them I just tried the one that I bought. But I’m pretty sure they are all made from the same material and they are all kind of the same. It does say that the product is latex free, that it is washable and reusable obviously and rich with vitamin E, which is not making any sense for me but anyways. So let’s move to the sponge now. First when I touched it I was surprised that it is so HARD, like extremely hard for me.  I’m so used to my real techniques soft sponge that I can’t even imagine how this one can blend at least something. If you tried those cheap blenders for a dollar and then you tried a beauty blender or the real techniques one, or just some other soft sponge, you will understand what I’m talking about. Cheap once are made from the materials, which are not absorbing liquids and products, so when you are trying to wet it, like a beauty blender, which becomes larger as its grabs the water, you will be surprised that they are not becoming larger or they are, but just for a little bit. So they are not so porous as beauty blender is. Well this one does. This one is grabbing the liquid but not as good. So it is somewhere in the middle between the beauty blender and cheap one. I’ve tried to spray it with my MAC Fix+ and it did grab some product. Also I tried to wet it with the water and it also works good, the sponge becomes softer and more manageable. If the sponge does not pick up enough of water or any other liquid that you are putting on it, then it will grab and absorb (waste) your product and will not blend it well that’s why it is so important for us. Let’s talk about blending. It does blend the product well. I was surprised that it does.  It doesn’t leave any marcs or harsh lines. But again it doesn’t feel and work the same as beauty blender at all. And you can buy those small beauty blender green eggs 2 for 18$ which is cheaper then this one. Why do I’m talking so much about the beauty blender? Cause this is the best product on the market right now that I have used and that’s why I’m looking for even better one if it’s possible, or the same one, but cheaper in price ( like the real techniques one ), but not for the same one but more expensive or not for the one that is not as good enough. I understand that this one was design to attach it to your finger/fingers and it is different then the normal blender is, but why not to do it in the best way possible? People will even pay more, if they will really like the product. So I’m a little bit disappointed about that. Also I feel like quality of this one is also not really good, since I used it once and it’s already starts dividing into two separate pieces. Again the product isn’t bad, but it isn’t the best. I will not recommend to buy it like a must have product, but if you want to try something new you can go ahead and test it, since it is kind of new way how to apply your product. That’s why I also wasn’t feel comfortable when I was working with it first time, but then you will kind of get use to it and it will works better. I don’t really feel like it is easier to work with this one then with the regular blenders. But I really like when people become creative and starts to find new different ways on how to make our life easier. So that’s why I personally bought it and what I really like about it. Please let me know what you think about this beauty tool and also watch my video review and testing of this product.
